●Research
Research on mathematics for materials aims to construct fundamental mathematical theories related to materials science and their applications. We analyze mathematical models related to materials by using theories of differential and difference equations, dynamical systems, nonlinear waves, geometry, combinatorial and probabilistic approaches, and numerical analysis. Based on deep mathematical background of physics, we develop mathematical methods and simulation techniques for materials science.
